For travel during peak season (October–April) and around holidays, we recommend booking 2–3 months ahead to secure your preferred boat and cabin. For other periods, 3–4 weeks is usually fine. We often secure last-minute availability too — just message us and we will check live for you.
Most cruises include your cabin, all onboard meals, guided activities (caves, kayaking, cooking demos), and an English-speaking guide. Drinks, tips, travel insurance and round-trip transfers from Hanoi are usually extra. We always confirm an all-in price before you book.
A 2 day 1 night cruise covers Ha Long's headline caves and viewpoints and suits tight schedules. A 3 day 2 nights cruise reaches the quieter Lan Ha and Bai Tu Long Bays with far more kayaking and time to relax. If you can spare the extra day, the 3-day option is well worth it.
