Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, where your private driver will be waiting with a name sign. Transfer to your hotel in the Hoan Kiem area — ideally located for exploring the Old Quarter on foot. After settling in, join your guide for a relaxed evening orientation walk through 36 Streets, stopping at Hoan Kiem Lake at sunset.
End the day with a welcome dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the Old Quarter — the perfect introduction to Vietnam's extraordinary street food culture elevated to restaurant quality.
A full day exploring Hanoi with your private guide. Morning visits to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex, Temple of Literature (Vietnam's first university), and the serene West Lake pagoda. Afternoon: cyclo tour through the Old Quarter's maze of 36 specialty streets, each historically dedicated to a different trade.
Evening street food walking tour: banh mi, bun cha, egg coffee, and Vietnam's famous Bia Hoi (fresh beer) at the corner junction on Ta Hien Street — a Hanoi institution.
Morning drive to Ha Long Bay (3.5 hours, private car). Board your boutique cruise ship at noon — choose from our selection of 4★ or 5★ wooden junks. Sail through thousands of limestone karsts as you enjoy a seafood lunch on deck. Afternoon: sea kayaking through hidden caves and floating fishing villages. Evening: cooking demonstration, squid fishing, and sunset cocktails on the sundeck.
Wake up on the bay for optional sunrise tai chi on deck. After breakfast, explore Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave — one of Ha Long's largest and most spectacular stalactite-filled caverns. Return to harbour by midday, transfer to Hanoi, then catch an evening flight to Hue (included in tour price).
Full day in Hue, Vietnam's ancient imperial capital. Morning: explore the walled Imperial Citadel and its Forbidden Purple City — the inner sanctum of the Nguyen Dynasty emperors. Dragon boat ride along the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue's iconic 7-story tower. Afternoon: visit the ornate tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh. Evening: royal Hue cuisine dinner — a feast of 8-12 small dishes served as Vietnam's most refined culinary tradition.
Drive south over the legendary Hai Van Pass (Cloud Pass) — one of Southeast Asia's most dramatic coastal roads, with panoramic views of Da Nang Bay below. Stop at the Marble Mountains, five limestone formations honeycombed with Buddhist shrines and caves. Arrive in Hoi An by afternoon. Evening bicycle tour of the UNESCO-listed Ancient Town as hundreds of silk lanterns illuminate the streets above the Thu Bon River.
Morning: guided Hoi An Central Market tour followed by a hands-on Vietnamese cooking class — learn to make white rose dumplings, cao lau noodles, and banh xeo sizzling pancakes. Free afternoon: browse Hoi An's famous tailor shops (24-hour custom clothing available). Late afternoon excursion to My Son Sanctuary — ancient Hindu temple complex built by the Cham Kingdom between the 4th–14th centuries.
Morning flight from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City (1 hour). Afternoon: guided tour of the War Remnants Museum — one of Southeast Asia's most powerful historical museums. Visit the Reunification Palace, Ben Thanh Market, and the French colonial Notre-Dame Cathedral. Evening: Saigon by night — rooftop bar cocktails above the glittering city skyline, followed by dinner at a renowned Vietnamese restaurant in District 1.
Full-day Mekong Delta excursion (2.5 hours from HCMC). Board a traditional sampan boat at dawn to drift through Cai Rang floating market — vendors selling tropical fruits, vegetables, and hot pho noodle soup from their boats. Visit a local rice paper factory, tropical fruit orchards, and a honey bee farm. Lunch is a feast of Mekong Delta specialties: elephant ear fish, fresh coconut, and steamed rice in banana leaves.
Free morning in Ho Chi Minh City — use it for last-minute souvenir shopping at Ben Thanh Market, a final Vietnamese iced coffee on a street-side plastic stool, or simply a lie-in at the hotel. Your driver will collect you at a scheduled time for transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your departure flight. Tour ends here. Safe travels — and we hope to see you again in Vietnam!
Ha Long Bay cruise routing is subject to weather and sea conditions. In rare cases of severe weather, an alternative bay with equally stunning scenery will be arranged at no extra cost.
