Depart Ho Chi Minh City by private vehicle. Arrive at Cat Tien eco-lodge. Afternoon introductory forest walk with a park ranger to get your bearings.
Dawn wildlife walk at 5:30am u2014 highest chance of spotting gibbons and rare birds. Guided full-day jungle trek through old-growth forest. After dinner, a guided night walk to spot civets, slow lorises, and nocturnal insects.
Morning walk to a local Stieng ethnic minority village. Return to Ho Chi Minh City by early afternoon.
