Early morning departure from Hanoi by private vehicle (4.5 hrs). Check in at eco-homestay on the lakeshore. Afternoon boat ride to meet the Tay ethnic community.
Full-day kayaking across Ba Be Lake (the largest natural freshwater lake in Vietnam). Afternoon guided jungle trek through bamboo forest. Visit Puong Cave u2014 a 300m cave with a river running through it, home to thousands of bats.
Morning visit to Dau Dang Waterfall in the rainforest. Depart after lunch, return to Hanoi by late evening.
